Overview

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains your statutory rights under EU and German consumer protection law, as well as our additional voluntary return policies.

1.5 Deadline Compliance

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the 14-day withdrawal period expires. The date of sending (postmark or email timestamp) is decisive.

1.6 Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including:

  • The purchase price

  • Standard delivery costs (the least expensive type of delivery we offer)

Not included: Extra costs from your choice of express or premium delivery methods

1.7 Refund Timeline

We will process your refund without undue delay and, in any event, no later than:

  • 14 days from the day we receive notification of your withdrawal decision, OR

  • 14 days from the day we receive the returned goods back (whichever is earlier)

We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

Note: We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you provide proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earliest (for physical goods).

1.8 Return Shipping Costs

For statutory withdrawal of physical goods:

  • Your Responsibility: You bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed to bear this cost

1.9 Condition of Returned Goods

  • Not Permitted: Excessive use beyond what is necessary for inspection may result in value compensation

1.10 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal does NOT apply to:

  • Digital Content: Supply of digital content not on a physical medium if performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you lose your withdrawal right

  • Sealed Goods: Goods sealed for health or hygiene reasons that have been unsealed after delivery

  • Personalized Goods: Goods that have been customized or clearly personalized for you

  • Perishable Goods: Items that can deteriorate or expire rapidly

  • Sealed Audio/Video: Sealed audio or video recordings or sealed software that have been unsealed after delivery

  • Newspapers/Magazines: Supply of newspapers, periodicals, or magazines (except subscriptions)

  • Services Fully Performed: Services fully performed with your prior express consent before the withdrawal period expires and with acknowledgment that you lose your withdrawal right

  • Urgently Needed Repairs: Services related to urgent repairs or maintenance where you expressly requested us to visit

2. Our Voluntary Extended Return Policy

2.1 Extended Return Period (Beyond Statutory Requirements)

In addition to your statutory 14-day withdrawal right, we voluntarily offer an extended return period:

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return eligible items for a full refund. This is a voluntary extension and does not affect your statutory rights.

2.2 Voluntary Return Eligibility

For our voluntary extended return period, items must be:

  • In original, unused, and resalable condition

  • In original packaging with all tags and labels attached

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation, receipt)

  • Returned within 30 days of delivery

2.3 How to Initiate a Return

3. Return Shipping Costs

We cover all return shipping costs if:

4. Refund Processing

  • Bank Processing: May take an additional 3-5 business days depending on your bank

4.3 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to your original payment method:

  • Credit/debit card refunds appear as a credit on your statement

  • PayPal refunds return to your PayPal account

  • Bank transfer refunds are processed to your original account

5. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. To exchange an item:

  1. Return the original item following the return process above

  2. Receive your refund

  3. Place a new order for the desired item

This ensures you get the item you want as quickly as possible.

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

6.1 Reporting Defects

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  • Contact us immediately: Within 48 hours of delivery for shipping damage, or as soon as you discover a defect

  • Provide:

    • Your order number

    • Photos clearly showing the damage or defect

    • Description of the issue

6.2 Resolution Options

We will offer:

You do NOT need to return damaged items unless we specifically request it.

6.3 Warranty Claims (German BGB)

In addition to return rights, statutory warranty rights under German law (BGB §§ 437 ff.) apply:

  • 2-Year Warranty: Goods must be free from defects for 2 years from delivery

  • Presumption of Defect: For defects appearing within 6 months of delivery, it is presumed the defect existed at delivery

  • Remedies: You may choose between repair or replacement. If both are impossible or disproportionate, you may request price reduction or contract withdrawal

7. Digital Products, Content, and Subscriptions

7.1 Statutory Withdrawal Right

For digital content not supplied on a physical medium:

  • You have a 14-day withdrawal right from the date of purchase

  • Exception: If you begin downloading, streaming, or accessing the digital content before the 14-day period expires AND you expressly consented to this AND acknowledged that you lose your withdrawal right, then the withdrawal right is forfeited

7.2 Our Digital Content Policy

For digital products and online subscriptions:

  • Before Access: Full refund available within 14 days if you have not accessed the content

  • After Access: No refunds for voluntary returns

  • Technical Issues: Full refund if content is defective, not as described, or technically unusable

  • Subscriptions: You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

7.3 Defective Digital Content

If digital content is defective or does not match the description:

  • Contact us with details of the issue

  • We will repair or replace the content, or provide a full refund

  • Statutory warranty rights apply

8. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned for hygienic, safety, or legal reasons:

  • Digital Products: After access has begun with consent (see Section 7)

  • Personalized Items: Custom-made or engraved products

  • Perishable Goods: Food, flowers, or items with expiration dates

  • Sealed Hygiene Products: Items unsealed after delivery (cosmetics, personal care)

  • Gift Cards: Activated gift cards or vouchers

  • Downloadable Software: If the seal has been broken (physical media)

  • Final Sale Items: Clearly marked as final sale at time of purchase

Important: These exceptions do NOT affect your warranty rights for defective goods.

9. International Returns
